Airports today have gone a long way from the ones we used to know when we were children. Before, airports are just a venue for seeing someone to be sent off or picking up a loved one from a tiring travel. Years ago, it was just a place where planes are gathered for necessary stops and refuels, and people waiting for their flights before boarding the plane.
Now, airports have transformed like malls. You enter the arrival or departure area and you see Starbucks. Instead of waiting endlessly for the delayed flight, you sip your
coffee leisurely and plug in your notebook, making yourself comfortable in the spacious, carpeted lounge area. When it is time to board the plane, you go down the escalator or elevator and rejoin the throng of passengers seated amidst glass walls. Indeed, the airports of the world have become modern and high-class, and I am glad that flight environments now have something to calm our nerves.
