During Sanrio Puroland’s first three years, it had lost money from technical mishaps and a lack of popularity from Hello Kitty. Eventually, it became a must-see attraction Japan, especially for families with preschool-aged children.

Puroland has 7 main parts: the Marchen Theater, Entertainment Hall, Fairyland Theater, Sanrio Character Boat Ride, Discovery Theatre, The Time Machine of Dreams, and Kitty’s House. Children can make their memories into a portrait at the Portrait Corner or have their goods personalized in the Marchen-Koubou.
